Alan Cochran was raised in Indianapolis
but lived in Jacksonville, Florida for 15 years after a stint in the
Navy. While in Jacksonville, he formed the popular band “The
Company”, an 8 piece band with a full horn section. They toured
the seaboard and central Florida for 12 years. Alan returned to Indianapolis
4 years ago and formed “The Crestliners” shortly after
returning home. An accomplished guitar player and vocalist, Alan has
the ability to capture the feeling of each song and project it to
his audience. An avid Elvis fan, he performs some excellent Elvis
music. Strong stage presence, high energy and very entertaining.
George Cornelius was a long time resident of Indianapolis playing
keyboards for many of the top bands in Indy. He moved to California
for 12 years. Upon returning to Indy, he joined the Crestliners. His
rocking, smoking piano and his piano pumping style pleases his audiences
and leaves them wanting more! Strong stage presence, high energy and
very entertaining.
Johnny Rea is from Indianapolis and has played bass for many top bands
in Indy along with his long time friend George Cornelius. He is well
known for his excellent music and his wild, entertaining antics with
his stand up string bass. Strong stage presence, high energy and very
entertaining.
Steve Kennedy is from Indianapolis and started
playing drums in 1965. In addition to drumming, he sings vocals, and
when called on, can play piano and guitar. Steve has played with the
top local bands in Indy as well as some national acts that include:The
Platters, The Drifters, The Coasters, The Marvelettes, The Outsiders,
The Dovells, Gallery, Maxine Nightingale, Tony DeFranco, England Dan
& John Ford Coley, Al Wilson, and The Bay City Rollers.
Alan Cochran & The Crestliners perform
at many events including clubs, corporate events, special events,
festivals, car shows / cruise ins, and performing arts theatre, playing
50's rock & roll, doo wop and “Memories of Elvis”.
Their “Cruisin' With The Crestliners” show was designed
specially for car shows and cruise ins. It is an entertaining mix
of 50's rock & roll and car songs from the 50's & 60's. |
