Rock & Roll hit the country like a giant storm! Doo Wop was born on the street corners of Philadelphia, Pittsburg and New York City. Teenagers were dropping nickels in the juke boxes to hear their favorite Teenage Idol and cruising the popular drive-ins with their radios turned all the way up. Our country had never seen anything like it before or since!

Alan Cochran hasn’t forgotten the sounds from those days. He has given himself to the concept of being a kind of “curator” to the raw sounds of early rock n’ roll. If you close your eyes you can still feel the raw energy of a moment in time that should never be forgotten. That season, that blast of brilliance still shines after all of these years.
